Many people get pain in their gut,
a pain that leads them to the doctor.
Doctor doesn't know why they have a problem,
sends them on their way.
Then they have the pain again.
A lot of people have mystery gastric spasms.
Part of those gastric spasms depends on the location
of the gastric spasm.
The area in the intestinal tract that triggers that spasm,
the ileocecal valve, is one of those areas right there.
As food enters into the ileocecal valve
and the ileocecal valve is inflamed and swollen,
it can trigger the vagus nerves.
Vagus nerves control a big part
of our entire intestinal tract,
even down to the ileocecal valve.
And so when it gets triggered,
it sends a message to the vagus nerves all through the gut
and you end up with spasms in different locations.
The ileocecal valve can be behind those spasms
when it's inflamed.
Thank you.
